Giorgio Lonardi

Giorgio Lonardi worked for over 30 years as a correspondent for the economics section of La Repubblica. Throughout his career, he covered industrial relations, training, technological innovation, business models, and entrepreneurial strategies. He covered companies such as Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Tenaris, Esselunga, L’Oréal, Falck, Ilva, Marzotto, Benetton, and Montedison. He also covered sectors such as chemicals, pharmaceuticals, steel, mechanical engineering, food, textiles and clothing, and large-scale retail trade.
A graduate in Psychology from Sapienza University of Rome with a thesis on managerial stress, Lonardi wrote "The Techint Case" (Sperling & Kupfer) and, together with Antonio Cianciullo, "Making Money with the Environment" (Sperling & Kupfer), ten stories of excellence in eco-friendly businesses.
