Giovanni Fassi, 47, has been Managing Director of Fassi Gru Spa since January 2001, the year in which he
came to work alongside his father Franco Fassi, the founder, in leading the company. His entry into the
company dates back to 1992 and it is important to underline the continuity of this timeline because,
thanks to Giovanni Fassi’s activity, the principles of quality, innovation, consistency, safety and
internationality with which the company's entrepreneurial venture into the crane world began are still
the same as those which are adhered to within the global enterprise Fassi Cranes is today. And it is
precisely this that Giovanni Fassi is recognized for: having bought about the great international
expansion of Fassi Gru on the main markets, enhancing the excellence of a brand that has found a
particular place in the heart of tens of thousands of crane operators in every part of the world. The
youngest of three brothers (his sister Raffaella also works within the company), Giovanni Fassi lives in
Bergamo, is married to wife Monica and has a seven-year-old daughter.
