From the challenges of Industry 4.0 to the role of human capital: real economy of enterprises and territories, industrial relations, robotics, school and university training, technical and humanistic skills. These are some of the pivotal themes of the tenth edition of the Festival Citt\u00e0 Impresa,<\/strong> scheduled in Bergamo for the fall edition from Nov. 10 to 12.<\/strong> The Festival, directed by Dario Di Vico<\/strong>, is promoted by ItalyPost <\/strong>in collaboration with Corriere della Sera Foundation<\/strong>, with co-sponsors Bergamo Chamber of Commerce, Province of Bergamo, University of Bergamo, Bergamo Municipality.<\/strong> The event, curated by Goodnet Territori in Rete<\/strong>, enjoys the patronage of Confindustria Bergamo<\/strong> and has UBI Banca<\/strong> and Brembo<\/strong> as main partners. Content partner is Kilometro Rosso,<\/strong> while Glasford International Italia<\/strong> and Sacbo<\/strong> are sponsors and publishing house Egea<\/strong> and Economia&Management<\/strong> are media partners. <\/p>\n

Born 10 years ago<\/strong> as an event that connects the business world with the territories,<\/strong> the Enterprise City Festival chooses Bergamo<\/strong>, one of the great symbol-cities of Italian manufacturing and one of the territories with the strongest industrial vocation in the country, as the venue for its fall edition. The protagonists of this event will be mainly young people, but also entrepreneurs, managers, professionals, who will meet in a three-day event that will invade the historic centers of the cities, to discuss and reflect on the economic, social and cultural prospects of businesses as a whole and of the territories, trying to focus on their limits and potential, addressing both issues of stringent topicality and perspective.<\/p>\n

The Festival Program<\/strong><\/p>\n

The event will open its doors at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 10<\/u><\/strong>.<\/strong> After greetings from Bergamo Chamber of Commerce President Paolo Malvestiti, <\/strong>Bergamo Mayor Giorgio Gori, <\/strong>University of Bergamo Rector Remo Morzenti Pellegrini <\/strong>and Province President Matteo Rossi, <\/strong>dialogues, coordinated by Festival Director Dario Di Vico,<\/strong> will follow with Alberto Brivio<\/strong> president Imprese&Territorio, and Stefano Scaglia<\/strong> president Confindustria Bergamo, as well as the opening interview with economist Francesco Giavazzi<\/strong>.
\nIn the afternoon, starting at 2 pm.30, three appointments: in the first Simona Camerano<\/strong> head of research and studies at Cassa Depositi e Prestiti will discuss with Francesco Daveri <\/strong>professor of Practice SDA Bocconi and Guido Corbetta<\/strong> from the editorial board of Economia&Management<\/em> the certainties and uncertainties of economic recovery;<\/strong> in the second meeting (3 p.m.), coordinated by Francesco Seghezzi <\/strong>director Fondazione ADAPT, will discuss “Apprenticeships and internships, what works and what doesn’t” <\/strong>with Gianni Bocchieri <\/strong>director of Education, Training and Labor Regione Lombardia, Rossella Fasola <\/strong>public affairs manager Randstad Italia, and Paolo Ferrari <\/strong>director of Human Resources and Organization Brembo. The underlying theme of the third event (3 p.m.) will be “Technology and SMEs, the dream of an Italian Fraunhofer”:<\/strong> speakers at this meeting will include Cristiano Arrigoni <\/strong>director Bergamo Sviluppo, Sergio Cavalieri<\/strong>, pro-rector of Technology Transfer, Innovation and Research Enhancement University of Bergamo, Fabrizio Dughiero <\/strong>pro-rector of Technology Transfer and Business Relations University of Padua, and Vincenzo Russi, <\/strong>e-Novia CEO. Massimo Sideri, <\/strong>director of Corriere Innovazione-Corriere della Sera <\/em>, will lead the meeting. The afternoon of Friday, Nov. 10, continues with two other outstanding events: in the first (4 p.m.), dedicated to the ” Phantom of the <\/strong>fake news<\/strong><\/em>“,<\/strong> after the introduction and greeting of the rector of the University of Bergamo Remo Morzenti Pellegrini,<\/strong> Luciano Fontana <\/strong>director Corriere della Sera <\/em>and Paola Severino, <\/strong>rector LUISS University of Rome, will be the protagonists of the discussion, with the moderation of Marcello Zacch\u00e9<\/strong>, journalist de <\/p>\n

The Journal. <\/em>At 4:30 p.m., however, the question that will be sought to be answered will be “Where does the Human Technopole stand?”<\/strong> After an introduction by Stefano Paleari <\/strong>president of the Human Technopole coordination committee, Giuseppe Remuzzi <\/strong>scientific director Istituto di Ricerche Farmacologiche “Mario Negri” and Alessandro Spada <\/strong>vice president Assolombarda will speak. Coordinating the meeting will be Corriere della Sera<\/em> journalist Massimo Fracaro <\/strong>. Instead, at 6:15 p.m. <\/strong>(instead of 5:30 p.m. as originally scheduled) it will be the turn of Emma Marcegaglia <\/strong>president Business Europe and Antonio Tajani <\/strong>president of the European Parliament: coordinated by Corriere della Sera <\/em> deputy editorDaniele Manca<\/strong>, they will dialogue on the theme “The European industry we would like.”<\/strong> The second day of the Festival – Saturday, Nov. 11<\/u><\/strong> – will open at 10 a.m. at Kilometro Rosso with a speech by Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni<\/strong>, who will be preceded by greetings from Alberto Bombassei<\/strong> and Andrea Moltrasio<\/strong>. At 11:30 a.m. the Festival will resume in the city<\/strong> with a series of events, initially scheduled for 10 a.m., on the major themes of the economy and development.<\/p>\n

One of them will be dedicated to the theme “Should we now be afraid of China?”:<\/strong> introducing the meeting to be held in the Mosaic Room of the Chamber of Commerce Andrea E. Goldstein <\/strong>chief economist Nomisma and member of the Easternational Scientific Committee, author of Red Capitalism <\/em>(Universit\u00e0 Bocconi Editore). Alberto Baban <\/strong>president Piccola Industria di Confindustria (Small Industry of Confindustria) and Alberto Rossi <\/strong>head of Marketing Fondazione Italia Cina will then speak at the debate, moderated by journalist Giada Messetti<\/strong>. At the same time, in the Viterbi space of the Province of Bergamo, they will discuss “Attractiveness of territories: what multinationals are asking for”<\/strong> with Enrico Borgarello <\/strong>group research director Italcementi-HeidelbergCement Group, Massimo Quizielv\u00f9 <\/strong>managing partner Glasford International Italy, and Luca Vignaga, <\/strong>HR director Marzotto Group. Franco Cattaneo<\/strong> journalist L’Eco di Bergamo<\/em> will coordinate.
\nAlso at 11:30 a.m., in the Sala Giunta of Confindustria, a meeting curated by Valore D on “The value of diversity in business.”<\/strong> Sandra Mori <\/strong>president Valore D will introduce, and speakers will include Enrica Foppa Pedretti <\/strong>chief financial officer Foppapedretti, Stefano Franchi <\/strong>general manager Federmeccanica, Chiara Traversi <\/strong>vice president Piccola Industria Confindustria Bergamo, Michele Viale <\/strong>general manager Alstom Italy & Switzerland. Coordinating the meeting will be Fabio Savelli, <\/strong> Corriere della Sera <\/em>journalist. Also at 11:30 a.m., but in the Galmozzi Room of the Bergamo City Hall, the meeting will continue with a talk by Fabrizio Onida, <\/strong>professor emeritus Bocconi University and author of L’industria intelligente <\/em>(Universit\u00e0 Bocconi Editore). Discussing with him will be Marco Bettiol <\/strong>professor of Marketing University of Padua, Paolo Buonanno <\/strong>pro-rector of Scientific Research University of Bergamo, and Gianluigi Carlo Viscardi<\/strong> president National Technological Cluster Intelligent Factory and vice president Bergamo Sviluppo; coordinating the meeting will be Francesco Rigatelli<\/strong>, journalist La Stampa.<\/em> Shifted to the afternoon at 3 p.m.,<\/strong> however, is the discussion to discuss an issue that is very important locally but affects many Italian provinces-the focus of the debate will be “Beyond the infrastructure, urban regeneration paths along streetcar routes.”<\/strong> Speakers will include Riccardo Cagnoni <\/strong>president Pro Tram Committee, Elisabetta Cattini, Diego Deponte, Marco Lameri<\/strong> of Trampi\u00f9 Group, Matteo Rossi <\/strong>president Province of Bergamo, Filippo Simonetti <\/strong>president TEB-Tramvie Elettriche Bergamasche. Also confirmed at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Chamber of Commerce is a discussion on “The Italy of Inequalities.”<\/strong> Dario Di Vico, <\/strong>author of Nel paese dei disuguali <\/em>(Egea), will introduce; then Maurizio Martina <\/strong>minister of agricultural, environmental and forestry policies, and Stefano Parisi <\/strong>founder Energie per l’Italia, will confront each other, with moderation by Riccardo Nisoli <\/strong>director Corriere di Bergamo.<\/em> At the same time, at the Confindustria Bergamo headquarters, a third meeting on “Twenty years of labor agencies. A balance sheet,”<\/strong> moderated by Francesco Seghezzi <\/strong>director Fondazione ADAPT, will feature Maurizio Del Conte <\/strong>president Anpal, Andrea Malacrida <\/strong>managing director The Adecco Group Italia, and Tiziano Treu <\/strong>president Cnel. The theme will be “Capitalism in Lehman sauce ten years after the failure of the bank-symbol”:<\/strong> Stefano Massini <\/strong>playwright, Piccolo Teatro artistic consultant, will dialogue with Ferruccio de Bortoli<\/strong> president Longanesi and Victor Massiahconsiglierexecutive director<\/strong>of UBI Banca, in a discussion led by Alessandra Sardoni <\/strong>journalist La7<\/em>. Sunday, Nov. 12<\/u><\/strong> the Citt\u00e0 Impresa Festival moves to the Kilometro Rosso Science and Technology Park, where at 11:30 a.m. the Festival’s closing event will be held, dedicated to young people and their job prospects after graduation.
